Coronavirus Prevention Measures at Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee

With the concern regarding Coronavirus, COVID-19, there is nothing more important to us than the health and well-being of our members, volunteers and staff. Gilda’s Club has a sick policy in place, in which volunteers and staff are required to stay at home when symptoms of any illness are present in any form. If you are symptomatic of an illness – from the common cold to the flu – we ask that you, too, refrain from coming to our clubhouses and stay home.

We are following the guidance provided by the CDC, Metro Nashville Public Health Department and Williamson County Health Department, all of which recommend:

  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – discard tissue immediately into a closed bin
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Avoid close contact with those who are or think they are becoming sick

At both our Nashville and Williamson County locations, we will continue to have hand sanitizer available and, for the time being, be a handshake- and hug-free zone. In addition, we will be sanitizing all of our spaces at least twice daily.

At this time, Gilda’s Club is open. Please check the MindBody app or the Program Calendar page on our website for potential changes to our schedule, or call us at 615-329-1124 (Nashville) or 615-905-9633 (WillCo) with questions or needs. If, at any time, we need to temporarily close our doors, our Program team will share details on how our support groups will continue to meet via conference call.

We will continue to keep you informed and very much appreciate you keeping yourself and others safe by staying at home if you have any symptoms of any kind for this or any other illness.
